Swedish
The term "Swedish Massage" refers to a variety of techniques specifically designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them against deeper muscles and bones, and rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart.
The main purpose of Swedish massage is to increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles.
Similar to Swedish massage but used to target knots and release chronic muscle tension. The benefits include reducing inflammation and helping to eliminate scar tissue. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints).
Deep tissue massage uses strokes across the grain of the muscles, not with the grain as in Swedish massage. These more intense movements and techniques such as deep finger pressure may be slightly uncomfortable and cause soreness that lasts a couple of days before resulting in the desired relaxation and pain relief.
Each session of 30 minutes to 2 hours is tailored specifically to each clients needs.

This treatment starts with a sensory journey to determine the right essential oil for each client. This oil is added to our warm massage oil and applied over the body. After the oil application you are draped with hot towels and wrapped in a cocoon for 15 mins. This treatment is good for dry skin, joint pain, stress reduction and relaxation.
Backbliss Spa Sampler $75.00/60 mins
This treatment starts with a sensory journey to determine the right essential oil for each client. Essential oil is added to each product used. We start with a back exfoliation using a walnut body polish, the polish is removed with hot steamed towels, followed by a hot oil massage, hot towel removal, followed by mud application, hot towel removal, followed by lotion application, this treatment ends with a hand, foot and neck massage. This treatment is the Ultimate for Back lovers.
Ear Candling $28.00/30 mins
A centuries-old practice used to remove wax buildup and inner-ear blockages. This soothing application involves placing a slow-burning cylinder gently into the ear. The cylinder is then lit at the opposite end to create a vacuum to soothe and relax the ear, causing no discomfort to the recipient.
Things to remember
- Arrive to your appointment 5-10 minutes prior to the time scheduled.
- Drink plenty of water before and after each session to aid the body in removing toxins and re-hydrating the muscles.
- Stretch daily. This will strengthen tissue and release toxins from the muscles.
- Do not get massage if you are sick or running a fever. This will put a stress on the immune system.
- Communicate all concerns with your therapist. Remember that when receiving deep tissue massage you must communicate your comfort level to your therapist.
- Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
- A 24-hour notice is required to cancel an appointment. $50.00 Fee is charged for all NO SHOWS.
